It has been ages since you released abridged versions of yourself, to gain approval – an approval that did not help you in any way.
They eulogized and encouraged you to go further, to project themselves in a positive light. Mind it, your virtues were being extolled for the sacrifices you made. Your potential was being called, not your achievements.
And finally, when you reveal your brilliance or the potential to enjoy yourself, they go scurrying around with a “Where is She?” expression.





Who says you can’t have fun? 🙂
