ferocious, by all means
ready to devour light-heartedness
with its forked tongue
oscillating between ages
It is but a memoir
of a buried culture
It pops out of pages of history
crosses geographies of the mind
destroys civic sense
in an alien language
causes incalculable damage
with a different math
undefined in scientific methods
not punishable by extant laws
only to reclaim a part
of belongings
long since abandoned
metamorphosed into shapes
it cannot give a name
yet, it clings to weapons
which damage the present
to justify its existence
How can it accept a death?
unless killed
once again…

Love how you’ve compared a dinosaur to a redundant culture/ custom. Thanks for joining in.
