Musings

I lost the license to the stock photo despite having paid a hefty price for it.

Is it a consolation that the photo has lost its premium with the advent of artificial intelligence?

We mourn losses on losing the exalted ground beneath our feet built over decades of hard work, attention to detail and manipulation.

Are we ready to embrace new beginnings in another field unconditionally, and let it steer us forward?

Or do we recoil by a lurking fear of being manipulated, just like we swayed others with carefully constructed images of our supremacy?

Maybe it is someone else’s time to shine, but will they shed light on the darkness that we want to hide?

  3. Interesting thought at the end: “will they shed light on the darkness that we want to hide?” I also liked the description of “manipulation” as swaying others “with carefully constructed images of our supremacy” which would be a form of gaslighting.
