The brick sailed through the air
In search of an abode
with honest walls
integrated roof
rooms flowing into others
to explore mindsets
accept diversity
unify improbable mates
the brick reached the woods
where it was accused
of dividing spaces
promoting ownership
inciting war
being immobile
when opinions need to shift
or minds need to meet
the brick – now porous
by its own defeat
invites builders for trial
they retract; for buyers
ask for strong firewalls
offline and online
the brick – now a sham
left alone
to decimate
to disintegrate
mingle with the soil
strengthen roots
before placing demands

A tiny brick but with many uses.
