a time; lived
humanity
when souls connected
with words; not emojis
those mask-like faces hijacked
authentic, and stock expressions
replaced amity and sanity
once upon a time, lived humanity
Emoticons

Did it, I wonder.
I do like emojis. I also value conversation with depth.

I’m a little afraid of emojis. They can’t convey the nuances that language used well is capable of expressing. Love the direction of this one!

Well expressed and so true Reena, oh for when people spoke and saw each other face to face – lovely poem

this is a great poem. To be honest people nowadays talk about giving an emoji reaction to something, but sadly true emotions have been wiped away from faces!

True that. Glad you could relate to it.
