The Black Diary

A damaged laptop, a watch that stopped working at 10.23 pm and a passport is all they find in the deserted bag. The passport carries the name of Adam Smith, which is not the name of the person they are looking for.

The black diary that holds important details is missing.

Has the diplomat been abducted? Was he planning to leave the country with a fake passport, but was sounded off in time about police presence at the airport.

Meanwhile, Adam Smith is making himself comfortable in business class on a US-bound flight. The stewardess approaches him,

“Can I help you, Mr. Chatterjee?”

Oh! Holy fish! He keeps forgetting he is supposed to act like the diplomat, Joy Chatterjee.

Will Joy Chatterjee be able to act like Adam Smith? That may be far below his station.

For the first time Adam feels sorry for the man who was abducted in his place. He pats the black diary in his pocket to make sure it’s in place.
