“Doff your hat to novelists for fleshing out characters from thought patterns, and screenplay writers for extending it to real life interactions.
All poetic thought is abstract, and poets are escapists. They seek flexible spaces where they can fashion things out of nothing, there is room for interpretation and nobody could blame them for being factually or technically wrong.”
ChatGPT is audacious enough to tell me this on being asked to write an abstract poem.
Is it a personal attack on my limited capabilities, or a compliment? For I can create things out of nothing, but a software needs inputs.

‘For I can create things out of nothing, but a software needs inputs.’ You summed it up beautifully, Reena.

Yet, I saw an YouTube ad saying the highest paid profession in future will be that of ‘a prompter’. Maybe the guy was selling a course on how to write prompts for Chatgpt.

A raspberry to the Chat, I think. Your posts come out of yourself and are much better & original!

That’s it right there, Reena. There is no replacement, no “better than” man’s mind and individual creativity. AI is regurgitation, a reassembling, if you will, of words and scenario.
Emotion. Where does poetry come from, abstract or otherwise? Emotion.

Irony is ChatGPT can be factually incorrect at times 😂 Anyhow, its’s a compliment for we can create everything out of nothing ❤️

I’m not a fan of AI writing. I’ve spent too much time and effort developing my craft only to be replaced by a machine!

AI writing needs a human editor. And it is chaotic in creative writing.

We cannot create real intelligence, I do not believe, just a poor copy of it.

Surely the most telling phrase in your Six is the least accessible to AI:
“They seek flexible spaces where they can fashion things out of nothing…

It sounds like a compliment even though the software didn’t know it was making one. Nice tale!
