I wonder
if it is a myth
sunflowers
turn towards
each other when there’s no sun
why don’t they assume
there’s no sun
and find strength within
intricate
inner webs
await permission from minds
hero-worshipping

I agree with Robbie! “Intriguing” is exactly the right word for these verses, Reena… very interesting to think about!

I have wondered why my sunflowers tilt themselves the way they do. There is sun, and they’re all looking a different direction. Apparently we like to personify the flowers. Beautiful writing.🌻🙃

Reena, I love this discussion of sunflower growth patterns. I didn’t know they turned toward each other when there was no sun. Great personification!!

There is no proof to support the theory, but some people do speak about it. They may get swayed by the wind, and it creates the impression. Anyway, it worked 😊 Thanks!
