Don’t stop, just acknowledge

flummoxed by
unexpected endings
I walked over
new beginnings

moods dominated.
by darkness
often forget
magic of dawn

something you left behind
outlived its relevance
what’s yet to begin
carries significance

sky is an illusion
pushing you
to touch the unknown

silent stars below you
struggle to speak
to change
line of vision
tell you
you’ve already risen
above destinations

they don’t stop you
from flying high
but just acknowledge
targets reached
or those that came down
to touch your feet

  3. Love what you did here, breaking it into little gems of reflection and wisdom. The second last stanza is beautiful, profound and could stand so well on it’s own.
