heightens imagination
trust slackens
overlook the good
surrender hope
-impending disaster
that never happens

fear paralyses life
sucks out positive
sanity fractioned
mental illness kills
long before spring
-autumn digs
summers wizened

belief is the only truth
shut eyes to real
-life blackened
struggle to prove
perspectives are true
–dignity cheapened
misery deepened
