You can’t resist handing over the wheel to others, while destinations wait.
The words seem to dance on the glass door, as he hands over the car keys to the valet.
“I don’t see parking spots as destinations”, he frames a reply in his mind as he enters through the automatic door and goes through security checks.
He’s happy to see that the mall has changed drastically – outlets for Swarovski and handmade carpets are replaced by those selling the latest devices.
The crowds thronging the shops are different, but It’s all going right. He desperately needs to break free.

Sounds like those words were said to him in an attempt to make him aware of a tendency apparent to everyone but him. At least on a conscious level.

I wish people are able to see themselves better.

I suppose a parking spot at your destination would mean you’ve reached your destination, Reena, then freedom awaits! 🙂

A mall is not the place i think of when i want to break free for a while. Whatever he’s looking for, i hope he finds it.

He remembers someone else’s words to start with. Maybe he is breaking free of that narrative or imposed mindset.

I don’t see parking spots as destinations either. They are like a requirement to get to a destination.

True that. A valet can take care of that. Thank you, Frank!
