How unfair and unprofessional. In my 40+ years in the corporate world, I was never fired. I was laid off once and found a new job the next day. Then the creeps were mad because I was leaving.

1. Startups are ruled by investor guidelines, but the ones doing layoffs are the biggest.
2. Technology has made it easier to be rude.
