Places and Spaces

I watch a child discovering the world around him. What if I clean my mind of all preconceived notions? How will places and spaces and the things within appear to me?

The space behind the door is just a hiding place. It has nothing to do with letting people in and out. The tree outside has birds perched on it, but I need to figure out how to get there. The moon is within reach, maybe in a mirror I can touch.

Everything around depends on me to give it a name. The identity of objects is so malleable that I can create a whole new world with different names.

it makes sense only
if I can relate to it
places and spaces
house the body, mind and soul
but I choose when, how and where
