The fading superstar reinstates himself by owning a cricket team. Writing cheques to buy superstars of sports is intoxicating.

Rumours circulate that he chooses the cheerleaders himself. He is so sure they draw people to watch the events, much more than the performance of champions.

The stadium is full, but his team is losing. It may be the last match for his team.

The business reports a loss.

He invests money to make en-masse bookings for his own film. He happens to be the distributor of the film too.

He hopes it’s not the last film of his acting career.

  1. It’s a sad fact of human nature that we always want, need more. In some ways it’s good. It keeps us motivated and ambitious. In other ways it’s bad. When is it enough? Greed is a hungry monster.

  2. There’s been quite a philosophical trend this week, and yours is added to the mix, Reena. Life beyond meteoric success, fame etc provides incredible food for thought. Where do you go to once you’ve reached the top in your field especially at a young age and these days they’re ever so more public than they used to be. Drugs seem to be another response strategy and tragically also suicide. It’s an intense rollercoaster ride.
