Climate change

I have no claims of any expertise on climate change. But I follow the news, and do whatever I can in small ways to protect the environment.

The speaker in a comic video referred to residents of Delhi (India) feeling uncomfortable in the odorless, fresh air of mountains. Clean air lacks ‘spice’ (referring to pollution), and they long to get back.

It set me thinking if there would be a reference point for future generations to know what was termed as ‘pure’ or ‘healthy’. They are likely to take the heat for granted, and build more effective air-conditioning. Use of open spaces would be restricted to winter months or whatever is considered a comfortable temperature.

How will they protect something they don’t know existed once? Purity will be a fairy tale

“Once upon a time, when people moved out without a mask, and looked good….”

If we don’t have the power to form or change policies, let us create content for awareness on youth-friendly platforms. Hopefully, some of the online stuff will survive before being relegated to the basement.

  1. I agree with your sentiment… “If we don’t have the power to shape or change policy, let’s create content for awareness on youth-friendly platforms. Hopefully, some things online will survive before being relegated to the basement.”
I think this would be a more viable option if man’s greed and selfishness can no longer.

    Fraternal greetings, Reena.
