“I completed my homework. Now you complete the story.”
Even in a fatigued state, I can’t help thinking that my baby has learnt to negotiate.
I try to recall the last narrative. The princess is locked up in a castle on top of the hill. Fairy Godmother gives him the Prince the power to fly over the gray structures, but he needs to get rid of his vehicle first.
I continue ahead,
“In a jiffy, he is out of the car, and invokes flying power from Fairy Godmother. But then…”
But …
“The cop stops him with a parking ticket.”

That is a fun piece to read, Reena. Well done.

Parking, the curse of all great stories. Nice comical laugh at the end.

Not the ending ‘baby’ had in mind I guess, but amusing nonetheless!

Reality is not the fun fiction can be.

That’s true. Characters are like puppets in the hands of a ventriloquist.

When eras clash it makes for interesting fairy tales. Funny story, Reena.

Thank you! Daily soaps on TV and mythology often make me think how an easy solution is skipped to prolong the story. Millennials will find it more so.

“The cop stops him with a parking ticket.”
And the prince turns to the cop and politely says, “No, thank you”!
