In a flash

This is in response to Eugi’s Weekly Prompt – Faraway

That faraway look holds the potential to reveal quite a lot. Looking  left up, right up or downwards is an indicator of parts of memory being accessed, or new ones manufactured.

It gives me a sense of power, short-lived. Who has ever stopped the train of thoughts?

I know you’ll be back here some time, at your convenience. But we’ll never connect in the same way. I’m not the same person either.

See me meditate
then disappear in a flash
a third eye opens
to show me different worlds
and I fly away high, high
am never the same again
