Orange on Black

The young scion of a prestigious business family makes waves in the industry, as she completely changes the face of the business. The new products are quirky, cost less than the competition  and appeal to millennials.

Senior managers are concerned about investment being higher than the returns, but the septuagenarian Chairman quips, “The company needs to be future ready.”

A media report refers to her as a vivacious orange splash on a black background, changing the landscape forever.

Her comment appears on top, “Colors know they owe their existence to the canvas. Black is sophisticated and offers silent, unacknowledged support.”

  1. Your MC isn’t Chairman at that age without a certain confidence of flexibility. Being “future ready” is smart strategy as is not being dismissive of the energy youth can bring to the table.

  2. I would say, I concur with the views expressed by your MC (Main Character)

…and nice ‘contexting’ to the modern world, business and traditional gender roles
