They tell me I’m God What’ll happen when I go? The minions all depend on me I see helplessness, tears flow It’s all darkness out there I cannot hear, I cannot see I see helplessness, tears flow The minions all depend on me I can’t wield power, I can’t roar Who will reap what I did sow? The minions all depend on me I see helplessness, tears flow Helpless I feel, tears are mine It’s not them, but it’s just me I see helplessness, tears flow The minions all depend on me
Poetry Form: Mirrorred Refrain

I like the lines you chose for your refrain. We do build a world where we see ourselves as God. I wonder if it’s just humans who do it? The fear of loss is acutely felt here.

I’ve seen dogs accept that the end is near, and take it gracefully. Yet they mourn other deaths in the family (they may not eat for 1-2 days and stay quiet). We don’t know what they are thinking about.

How tragic and helpless the situation is. Its the fear of everyone & not knowing what comes next. Thanks for joining in and wishing you a good weekend.
