Shift

“People come into your life for a reason or a season….” She was reading this poem for the 46th time, yet not finding answers to her silent question, addressed to the Universe and the energies which manifested it in the real world.

How could any person or situation change so drastically, defying all rules of logic, past experience and values of humanity someone professed to live by?

Stalking someone’s social media profile is not something she would have indulged in, some time ago, but the drive to find cues to the sudden desertion drove her to that space too.

She was aimlessly wandering around on Quora, and typed in a question “Why did you do this to me?” She was sure of its deletion by the platform, since it lacked a context, but there she found a sentence dropping in from an anonymous user – “I had no alternative.”

It seems the Universe was  listening, and had found a way to answer her query, and now she had no alternative but to plot revenge on the same lines.
