Leading nowhere

“Looks like the trees fell in yesterday’s storm…”

“It is of lesser consequence than the decline in business. I keep cleaning the tables, but there are no customers.”

“You never know. Maybe people came to enjoy the shade on sunny days….”

“I’ve asked the municipal authorities to get the trees replanted somewhere else.”

“Get them replanted in the same place. People need more oxygen than anything else.”

“I don’t have the technology to can and sell it. Give practical ideas….”

On the way back, I see many more uprooted trees. I recall the conversation, one of those which lead nowhere.

  1. This may be a business man, but he doesn’t understand his customers at all. Cafes and restaurants that have tables under trees have such a nice atmosphere. Everyone loves to go there, even if the food might be better elsewhere.

  2. So many conversations go nowhere. Especially the ones about the planet we live on. We need to open our eyes and see what Mother Nature is trying to show us and help her nurture the earth.
