Flowing forms

The poet I choose is Jude Itakali. You can find him in this space here.

you

deftly

combine forms

enhance beauty

of each genre

creative expressions-

prose and poetry flowing

into each other – makes me think

This is life – incomprehensible

in a single font or script, incomplete

without myriad variations

of love, joy, pain and emotion

How can I un-weave textures

to examine each thread

warp and weft – to know

Maker’s intent

and does it

matter

now?

  1. I was not familiar with this poet. I’m learning so much in this prompt and getting introduced to so many poets. I love what you’ve written here to introduce me to the poet: most especially these words:
    “This is life – incomprehensible
in a single font or script, incomplete
    without myriad variations
of love, joy, pain and emotion”

  2. Thank you so much Reena. I’m so humbled by this endorsement. It just made my many days to come. Can’t thank you enough.
