You always knew it. Didn’t you?
I was made in a different mould. I couldn’t twist and turn myself to fit into the social moulds of your expectations.
What forced your hand to get tough with me, and spew venom? Whose expectations were you living up to, when you criticised every act of mine.
You pushed me into leading a life I did not want.
You behaved like a competitor and adversary at times, but I could never understand why.
I became a solitudinarian ….. Mom, you isolated me from life..

Sometimes I think people should pass qualifying tests b4 they have children. A physical phenomenon happens, while they are mentally not prepared for the umpteen possibilities that come with a child? You don’t meet my expectations, so I’ll abuse you.

Sounds like Mom never really liked herself and tried to make her child be who she, herself wanted to be. Now no one is happy.
