Connections

I remember a poem called ‘A reason or a season” widely in circulation on social media a couple of years back. The poet opined that people come into our lives with a specific purpose, and we should let them go when they choose to go.The purpose has been fulfilled.

What disconnects is a vital clue to what connected us earlier. Expectations (unmet), growth (in different directions) or just the span of life (it ends for some earlier than others).

We need to make space for new connections, for growth, so mourning what did not happen is not in consonance with the purpose of life.

gratitude, relief

disconnects celebrated

-keep growing always

For those interested, a screenshot of the poem is here.
