a subject of fantasy eulogies romanticisation mystery body language for ages…. eyes occupy centre-stage once again as contours of facial beauty get masked in viral rains… I wish transparency becomes predominant in eyes and masks leaving no misunderstanding or unpleasant remnants.
Eyes

eyes
occupy centre-stage
once again
as contours
of facial beauty
get masked
in viral rains…
Love this stanza, especially viral rains.

So beautiful. When all but eyes are visible, oh what we can see!

Shakespeare was right, they are such windows, a poem of the very moment too.

Beautiful and impactful. Eyes do reveal so much, but it’s true that they don’t reveal it all. Great piece. 🙂

Masks have taken part of our expressiveness away and I think this speaks to that. It makes me think about texting and how often the tone is misinterpreted.

I wonder how many new languages are on the way. Though I did see transparent masks on some shopping site.

Eloquently expressed sentiments, Reena, that we can all relate to, especially
“as contours
of facial beauty
get masked
in viral rains”
