MY WILLlet her read inscriptions on my heart
my epitaph will speak, not accuseone more admirer goes on the block
let her gloat on headlines in newsshe will come, but a little too late
waiting eyes still open, will give all cluesI hope my emotions find destinations
unopened letters want reader’s reviewsIf a few breaths are still hanging
let her read love letters – bemused
हाल-ए-दिल तमाम पढ़वा देना उनको
मेरी कतबा-ए-मज़ार पढ़वा देना उनको
हुआ फ़ना एक और आशिक़ उनका
सुर्ख़ी-ए-अखबार पढ़वा देना उनको
बहुत देर कर दी आने में उन्होंने
खुली आँखों में इंतज़ार पढ़वा देना उनको
पा जाएँ मंज़िल अपनी जज़्बात मेरे
अनखुले ख़त हज़ार पढ़वा देना उनको
गर बचीं हो कुछ साँसें “अमित” अभी
मेरा पैग़ाम-ए-इज़हार पढ़वा देना उनको
