“Tell me what will you like to eat. I don’t get Indian food habits. Some of you are non-vegetarian, but won’t have pork and beef. Some call themselves eggetarians – no meat. There are fishetarians too – no meat, but all seafood is fine….”

I’m amused at his exasperation, and decide to instigate him further.

“Stop there, Alex! I cannot eat anything that lives underwater. Those organisms stink.”

“Your food phobias and idiosyncrasies stink……” 

I loved his expressions.

“Well, are we celebrating your birthday or not?”

“How about a movie date? But hey…. I hope you eat popcorn without any fuss.”
