Dark hues of midnight blue close in -claustrophobia is a word -for a feeling not actual happening Sometimes… I fly light challenging a kite -kiss horizons visualise worlds unseen -and write Forgive me, blues for all my life -I kept fighting my personal skies

This is so well said, Rena !

Oh, I LOVE this:
“Sometimes…
I fly light
challenging
a kite”
Just a gorgeous stanza.

This is a sensitive write! The idea of fighting one’s personal skies….the deep blues the unending darkness…the depression that can be seen and felt all around and above one’s self. And I love the illustration you’ve used….shaped like a portal on a ship….the portal that is the window to the outside, the escape from the depression within the mind. Would that everyone facing depression can find a portal to view sunlight and to escape from within.
