Expansive

I am a transformed person today.

I hired Linda to think for my protagonist, for the novel to shape up. She made it clear that she has no boundaries.

It has been a fascinating journey, as I explored new worlds, tested the improbable or impossible, lived outside my body, stretched my soul to extremes of humanity and my pen painted the human landscape in hitherto unseen colours.

Who is Linda – an agent from other worlds, or a messenger from unknown Gods wanting to make their presence felt, and capture imagination on this planet?

I know my name will go down in history – not for being the first person on Mars or Jupiter or Moon, but for expanding reach of the human mind.

  1. Oh, would that it was possible! Yet, it is, isn’t it? Isn’t that the purpose of alter egos or favorite characters? To free ourselves of self limitation and prejudice when engaged in creative thought and exploration.
    Great Six!

    (could not resist)

Intriguing concept, to engage (formal employment or intimate connection) another in order to enhance one’s view of this (and other) worlds.

Surely writing (especially, but not limited to) fiction is an exercise of the soul, even more than the imagination.*

Because, since the search for the secret of the universe involves traveling to places we have not yet been, (otherwise, who would still be searching), having a guide/companion/shade allows us to establish a reliable connection to that which is notoriously unreliable.

    Good Six, yo

*imagination is the mind’s eccentric uncle, the one who turns up at family functions unpredictably with tales of adventures that find ground mostly among children and the young at heart
