Merry Christmas

“Another Xmas party at a fancy hotel? They charge a bomb for spending the evening in an overcrowded place with loud music. The food is good though.”

“No, this is another kind of party. A writing prompt from an online friend. They are the ones who keep me thinking, reflecting and writing all year long. It feels like we know each other, though we’ve never met and not likely to meet.”

“Well, I cannot write. So I do what I’m good at and what I enjoy … partying.”

“To each his or her own. That is the true spirit of Christmas or any other festival. But we must come together and try to understand what others are all about. There are not many occasions to do that in busy times.”
