Stardust

The star of yesteryears walks into a movie theatre, breaths in the ambience for three hours and walks out – unrecognized. He has done a cameo in the latest release.

Box-office collections and publicity campaigns have gone digital. He doesn’t even have a social media account. He was uncomfortable about participating in promos. An artist of his calibre found it cheap to ask – like a politician seeking votes.

Back home, he pulls out old magazines, and inhales the musty smell. The 1975 annual issue of Sthttps://rochellewisoff.com/2019/06/26/7-june-2019/ardust had done a story of his life. What a starry, dusty memory and befitting tribute!

      1. And then comes the disappointment. I don’t really know if this is the better strategy. People talk and post about their disappointments of hyped-up promos and books/shows that don’t deliver.
