What is Extrinsic?

I die a thousand deaths, as bits and pieces
I value – look irrelevant in the world,
make me think what’s extrinsic – the world or me.

I see diamonds turn to dust, and gold to mud
I look aghast at emptiness of – everything
I value – look irrelevant in the world

You see humanity and selfishness mingling
You try to find paths to prosperity.
I look aghast at the emptiness of everything

For me, it’s not less than a calamity
Rocks rolling down value mountains-
You try to find paths to prosperity.

Can I ever wash the stains
which paint a collective conscience?
Rocks rolling down value mountains

Finally, I accept life and transience
I die a thousand deaths, as bits and pieces
which paint a collective conscience
make me think what’s extrinsic – the world or me?

  1. I am increasingly finding a strange peace in peaceful monism, we are all one universe, bound together, I believe in the self, but we are altogether all together: getting outside of ourselves, talk bout extrinsic! Nice
