Legacy

I inherited- an imperfect world
bloated complacence of privilege
-challenged by
aggression of less privileged
-manned by
mistaken humility of masses

An imperfect world
unbalanced by
inequitable spread
of natural inheritance
-a right to
dignified existence

I’m troubled by the vision
of what will I leave
for my grandchildren?
how will they answer
this question –
“What is your legacy?”
