What happened?
Don’t you know?
Why would I ask if I knew?
What were you thinking when you humiliated me and made me feel guilty in every manner possible. I did not even know the term ‘emotional abuse’, but I learnt … and more than that…
Cut it short, baby! What is it that you want? I’m getting late.
Revenge.
He felt his eyes sting, but there were no tears. He felt a fire in the gut, but there was no repentance. He lunged at her with full force, but fell on the ground.
His coffee was laced with poison.

Making feel guilty is the great game going on in between spouses.

At a point one thinks – am I really that bad? I remember a guy telling his wife – “I made it in life despite you.”

Some family members especially in-laws never pass a chance to make someone guilty to the extant that you start believing in them.

Oh! Great ending. Emotional atyachar is greater than physical, often. It takes a lot of courage to take revenge like this.

Emotional abuse itself is poisonous. No one sees or hears it but the sufferer silently feels it.
