I hear that energy is indestructible. It changes forms, but remains somewhere in the universe. Some people claim to hear the sounds from history.
I wonder what the Hiroshima victims would have said, and is there someone around with the sensitivity to get the message? Did they say something about the immense pain of being destroyed for somebody else’s battles? Do their unfulfilled hopes and dreams still linger around somewhere?
I like to think the souls migrated to some other planet. The hatred here was so intolerable. Perhaps, that planet is getting crowded, with increasing migration.

That other planet is over-crowded, I bet. I pray that the victims have found peace. Thanks for joining our peace memorial theme Reena.

I wonder how you can accept to be a victim for the “greater good”… sometimes I think war is like fighting fires with gasoline.

Humans seem to be the most destructive through impulsivity and greed. Tragic. Haunting questions you raise, not quite sure where we fit in the universal scheme of it all. Excellent haiku.

“winds of peace lose momentum” Sad, but true, it seems.

Haunting questions, with no easy answers. Your poingnant prose shows such empathy with the plight of the bombing victims. Your haiku ties it all together so well. Thank you, Reena!
