Optimism

happily

ever after

or

till death takes us?

 

Optimism of

irrationally positive brains

colors of sunrise

smells of spring

blossoming of buds

reincarnations

give us cause

sufficient to live.

 

I am no Phoenix

I know

life is a one-way street

yet …

I plan, I dream

there are no alternatives

hope is nothing less

than a fairy tale
