Erasure Poetry – Blues

 

edges and depths

of the spectrum

disperses

molecules of the air

scatters in water.

 

The sky is blue

is a deeper, dreamier, melancholy blue

gets lost

gives us the beauty of the world

 

color of distance

color of emotion

color of solitude

color of where you are not

color of where you can never go

 

Blue is the color of longing

for the distances

you never arrive in

for the blue world.
