Letting Go

Neily was hooked by the image, as I saw lines of hope, fear and dreams dancing in the unfathomable depth of her dark brown eyes.

She wanted it, and yet did not want it.

“Letting go is a learned art, a discipline, as we are so used to being bound in self-constructed environs.” I whispered and left with heavy footsteps, not knowing if she heard me, or wanted me to turn back.
