The storm failed to show up, as people waited with bated breath for the predictions to come true.
“No one can tell these days, neither the weather office nor astrologers. Weather moves at its own pace…”muttered people with heavy breath, as they prepared to show up at work. A holiday had been declared by local schools and they needed to arrange for day care.
Suddenly, the condominium reverberated with squeals of delight. Kids were in their respective balconies, with raindrops pouring down their chubby cheeks.
The wait was over. I switched on the television set and ordered pizza and ice cream. We just hoped that the power supply wouldn’t go off.
