I realized only now what a boring person I have become.
I checked up Wiktionary for words ending with -gasm, only to leave the site uninspired. The picture of gooey chocolate on the prompt did send an anticipation of pleasure to my mind. If there was a word to describe love for good clothes and makeup, yes, it comes close. But -gasm, no way, these are just a few things I consider essential to existence.
Well, there is something. I can wake up thinking about what will I read and write today, and on which platform. It does give me a high. It is a passion I share with online friends. Nobody in the immediate vicinity appears to be interested. Well, shopping trips and chocolate desserts can be shared with them. So, it remains a close second.
Conversely, what I had grand hopes to achieve but did not, was to find my rightful place in a honest world. Those are fantasies, since that honest world does not exist. Leave that for another lifetimeβ¦..

We may perceive our self as boring, however, others may not feel that way. IMO, boring is one of those adjectives that are in the eye of the beholder. ‘gasm’ can be interpreted in many different ways depending on individual preference.

There is so much implied in the ‘gasm’ whichever way you go with it, a sense of pleasure has to be the end result. I guess a brain splitting spiritual ‘gasm’ could be possible.

Yes. Meditation can help one reach that point. There are stories of saints who voluntarily ended life in meditative isolation.
