Bonding

“I know nothing about this sport.”

“Nor do you know any other (sigh)… I married you, so that I could spend some time away from the competitive world of sports, in love and peace.”

“It seems you regret it now.”

“Almost … at a young age of 69, I don’t have a companion to play disc golf.”

“We can think about shifting to the seniors’ home. I’ve heard they organize a lot of activities.”

“That sounds good. It’s time to look around for partners … “

The room reverberated with laughter. They bonded in a way only soul mates can.

  1. Mine also touched on ageing, although I had no idea what that contraption in the photo was, so I was flying blind. I particularly liked: “That sounds good. It’s time to look around for partners … “
My character had a similar idea.
    Best wishes,
