Experience cannot be erased, as it has been a part of me. But I can choose how to let the experience shape me. I can choose to overcome it, draw my lessons and chart a new path. I can choose not to let it pull me behind.
I want to create my electricity when needed, to light my own bulbs. I welcome and enjoy dawn and dusk, but do not wish to depend on it to fuel me.

Much wisdom in this Reena. The haiku is fitting. “Dull ache”–yes.

During vacation we lived by daylight without electricity… it was wonderfully relaxing to not have to chose… but soon we will have very little night so we can live without the need to switch on the light.

I was just about to say that it can be hard. And takes a conscious determination to stay the course. Great when it works out. A nice write Reena.
