Dan’s insomnia was a subject of research for the best medicos in town. His health was deteriorating, and they were giving up hope as all medicines failed to sedate him.
The family insisted on calling their guru to speak to him.
“So, my son, are you getting ready to wake up in a new world, full of happiness and cheer?”
“Are you sure where somnambulism would take me? The last time I woke up was with a knife in my back, stabbed by the person I trusted most in life.”

I feel very lucky to have never suffered severe insomnia or suffered from sleepwalking. Your character certainly had a most disturbing experience!
The mind is incredibly powerful and mysterious. Deprive it of a little sleep and all sorts of things can “happen”.

I liked this Six. There is something about the multiple layers of reality that, while we all know it exists, few of us acknowledge it.

Thanks! We create our own reality, and live by it. It is a subjective matter.
