born and raised
but alone in a mindset
I kept looking outside
to talk, to share, to opine
I never ever felt at home.
college was fun
with kids around
indulging in frivolity.
Realization… of a higher mental age
struck… I never ever felt at home.
work excited me
as a platform
to showcase all that I thought of
and create the world I dreamt of.
Alas …. I never ever felt at home.
I learnt to walk alone
with no fear
of death or separation
failed expectations
goodbye, life… I have never ever felt at home.

Ths was an excellent exploration of Homeless Reena. Its that sense of belonging I think that allows us to function within the community in which we live….thanks so much for adding your thoughts to the Tale Weaver.

Thank you, Michael! This is the worst kind of homelessness that I know of.
