The Eve of Eves

 Let’s take inventory of what’s perceived

 Reflect on the substance of what’s believed

Whether in the now or preconceived

Those that grieve deserve a reprieve

Yearn for experiences that undeceive

Resolve the woes of the weak and naive

Create joyful endings to tales we weave

We can’t achieve what we don’t believe

 There’s a lot to be said for makebelieve

Peace and light on this most wondrous of eves
