Belief makes it true

I was told reality is only a perspective, and I believed it. I had to move around the table, see the same object from different angles, and reconstruct a reality I considered comprehensive.

bits and pieces from

my experience colored

the lenses I used

So, I am only a character in the story – the narrator with a view. Building and including other characters and their perspectives enhanced the story, and made it more believable. My job is to keep it all together.

the stories I spun

struck a chord with listeners

they could relate to

It fulfilled my purpose, and I became a firm believer in storytelling. After a while, I could not separate the story from the reality on that table. The two got enmeshed together.
