Shades of Blue

winter blues stretching

to arctic infinity

lapis blue oceans

vanish in frozen mergers

the sky reflects everywhere

I watch nature’s love

turning so inspirational

sprucing up grey, slatey moods

sapphire blue streams console

all cerulean branches

cobalt blue ink flows

to write about love

and dancing peacocks

fire leaping with blue tongues

thaws the ice in my heart
