Breakdown

It had been a long distance marriage for three years now.

The distance between Jaipur and Delhi was covered by car on the weekends. Kriti would often stop for a coffee en-route at this eating joint. If it was getting late, she freshened up and got dinner for two packed from the same place.

The restaurant was in shambles, as it could not survive competition. The door had broken down, just like the communication between Kriti and Aman. The marriage was on verge of a breakdown.

She was returning from her last visit to Delhi, before she filed for divorce.

    1. We start seeing reflections of our life in everything around us. I remember a clock in the house had stopped working, when my father passed away. My mother refused to get it corrected, and just kept it away as a symbol.
