Loss

The sight of a grey sky always pulled her down. She was not sure, if she was imagining the red streaks on the sky, or if they were real. She looked at the dense fog, and wondered if the sunlight was cutting through the fog, or the fog was overpowering sunlight. The latter appeared to be a distinct possibility.

She remembered the evening, when she had seen him drive into oblivion, disappearing into the fog. Life had never been the same again. Doctors had labelled her condition as Clinical Depression. Only she knew it was loss of a life purpose.
