Who upsets the ocean

to cause churning

and unleashing of a force

stronger than mankind?

 

What is a tsunami

other than pent-up rage

unveiling tragedies

by replication?

 

Why do animals sense it

and alert others

while humans remain

ensconced in comfort zones?

 

Hired souls in bodies

living in stupor

till we see our reflections

in the depth of the ocean ….
